Day 1

Meet at 9 AM in Fabriano for a briefing. We start on E-Bikes, exploring the ghost villages through the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Park. After a short visit to the villages, we arrive at the canyon carved by the Sentino river. Here, in addition to a rejuvenating break along the riverbank, we will skirt the Abbey of San Vittore alle Chiuse, a monastic complex from the year 1000, one of the most important and ancient examples of Romanesque architecture in the Marche. The must-visit Valadier Temple, one of the most suggestive sanctuaries in the Marche, embedded in the rock since 1800, has always been a destination for pilgrims and travelers. Nearby, we find another place of great spirituality, Infrasaxa, a small worship site dating back to the year 1000, nestled against a rocky wall of the cave. Back on the bikes, we tackle the last kilometers to fully immerse ourselves in the wild nature of Monte Murano’s pine forest. Upon our arrival, the base camp will already be set up; we’ll get settled in the tents and those who wish can relax, take a shower, and enjoy a sunset aperitif. After a brief briefing to organize the next day, we finally dine.

Day 2

Wake up to the smell of coffee and start the day with a pleasant breakfast in the woods. If you wish, you can watch the sunrise over the Adriatic Sea, a spectacle from above. We get back on our bikes for a long descent to the village of Genga. After the visit of Genga, enjoy great gravel roads in the typical rolling hills scenery and the Appennino mountains in the background. We slowly return to base to conclude this exciting experience that will remain in our hearts.
